Two Headed Bird work in progress

Two Headed Bird was performing at the Idea Store in Watney Market east London. It was a resounding success
and greatly appreciated by the families who came to see it. The story of Tarun a Fisherman who wants to bring
fame and fortune to his fishing village but a revengeful Leopard stands in his way to find the mythical Two Head Bird.

Told in the free style with live music, song, dance and storytelling directed by Mukul Ahmed and featuring the songs
of Bengal and sung by celebrated Tanusree Guha. And featuring the wonderful singer Riya Sharmin. Supported by
Tower Hamlets and Brady Arts Centre (for rehearsal space) Picture by Shaheen Razzaq.

The project explored issues of the enviroment, love and friendships and community. The delicate balance between
humans and animals with accomplished artists and beautifully directed. Audiences gave their responses and was work
in progress. Plans to mount a new production are under talks for later this year.
